Rally for Education is defined in two parts:

1. to Rally is to bring individuals and communities together.

2. for Education is to bring awareness on a timely current event/issue affecting OUR communities.

A tennis tournament is organized to bring awareness to a particular issue that may not be necessarily shown in everyday media. All donations from each tennis participant is given to a new charity organization every year. Our own research is performed to find a charity organization that focuses on addressing and/or solving the issue. The concept of rallying for education originated in July 2009. Since then, there has been one Rally for Education Charity tennis tournament. It was hosted at The University of Texas at Arlington. Our goal is to host one tournament at the end of every summer. This year will be its second tournament for charity. The date is tentatively for August 21, 2010. Location TBA.

If you have any suggestions for an issue that is affecting your community and may not be given much attention in the media, and/or a specific charity organization, please email us at rallyforeducation@gmail.com.
